There
is a phenomenon we are experiencing as a byproduct of humanities growth,
technological advancement, and increasing global communication. It is
known as IOD, or Information Overload Dementia. The media's increase
of information, education, and overall sensory input is causing a condition
where our brain/ mind will temporarily and unpredictably short circuit.
This causes us to make irrational, unconscious choices. In the case
of leadership and people in authority positions these decisions can
cause "grave" (pun intended) results. Such as the well educated
and experienced scientists at Trinoble, Russia, who intentionally pushed
a wrong button, then couldn't reverse their action, causing death and
toxification for thousands of innocent citizens and the earth in general,
and years later we are still seeing the repercussions. The oil spill
in Valdez, Alaska where a ship captain came to work drunk and broke
the oil tanker he was responsible for, polluting the ecosystem and killing
millions of animals. The list goes on and on…
Can we afford to continue addressing our planet, and going about our
daily life in such unconscious ways?
This is a very special time in evolution, and it has been seen and
prophesized by many teachers and healers. In a state of clairvoyance
the Ancient Masters saw this time in the evolution of the consciousness
of humanity and the changes we would be required to bring forth. Kundalini
yoga and the Shabd Guru were given to humanity specifically to offer
a technology for self management and self healing during these times
of change and consciousness expansion known as "The dawning of
the Aquarian Age". Kundalini yoga is a gateway to inner knowledge.
It is taught exactly as the masters originally gave it to us, and is
the combination of all the yogas, including Pranayam (breath control),
Kryia (postures), Naad (use of sound current), mudras (hand positions),
and meditation.
The Shabd Guru is a technology of sound current created 500 years ago
by a great master and seer, Guru Nanak, as a way to maintain strength,
clarity, balance, and confidence, and to be a bridge as we shift our
minds and consciousness to its new frequency and align with the transitions
inherent to the Aquarian age. The results of the permutations of the
vibrations of these sounds affects the brain, glandular system, and
nervous system creating balance and healing affects. The affects are
enhanced through the application of breath and the rhythm of the sound
currents. Naad yoga is most effective when we put our heart into it,
and release a deep sound from the navel center using a powerful breath
behind it. The sound current created vibrates the 72 major meridians
of energy flow, and each cell of the body vibrates with the healing
agent of sound.
Pranayam is the art of applying breath to control ourselves and our
mind, and create balance.
Kundalini kryia yoga is a practice which will awaken and balance the
energies so we can reach our goals consciously. It strengthens and balances
all of the systems of the body, the glandular system, nervous system,
digestive system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, reproductive
system, circulatory system, and extends our youth and longevity.
Meditation is a cleansing and renewal which maintains our clarity and
inner space.
Silence is sacred space, and is practiced in Sat Nam Rasayan, which
is an ancient healing technique. In this technique you heal purely through
awareness. Rasayan means relaxing into the space of Universal Truth.
Sadhana is compiling all of these in a daily practice which creates
space for our experience in life to be deeper and more meaningful. Sometimes
it is maintenance, sometimes it is growth, but it is always our life
support, and the pathway for our vehicle (this body, mind, and soul)
to travel. We must create the experience to have the experience.
